PCB Layout/Designer 
Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a broad PCB design technical background, versed in all aspects of PC Board Design including schematic capture, layout and design, documentation and design checking.

Duties:
  • Review documentation necessary for PCB development generated by other engineering groups and verifies this documentation is sufficient for PCB design.
  • Generate, coordinate, and ensure completion of support documents as necessary. Generates and maintains PCB specifications.
  • Train engineers in schematic capture.
  • Train PCB designers in Mentor Graphics Expedition software.
  • Creation and maintenance of CAD library.
  • Work with other engineering personnel, establishes design parameters and ensures electronic designs comply with Design Validation specifications and product specifications.
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineering and outside vendors to identify and rectify fabrication, component, or assembly problems.
  • Work with Manufacturing Engineering, Sales and Marketing, and Quality Assurance to optimize designs for cost, quality, and manufacturability.
  • Design Printed Circuit board layouts based on engineering requirements and industry related experience.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of PADS Software or Eagle Software.
  • Experience with high-speed digital designs, RF circuits, power supplies and analog circuits preferred.
  • Able to make decisions independently on PCB design problems and methods and use advanced techniques and the modification and extension of theories, precepts, and practices of own field and related sciences and disciplines.
  • Able to peer check others work and mentor another PCB Designer.

Electronics Test TechnicianTest, troubleshoot and repair to the component level in a manufacturing environment.
Familiar with issues related to surface mount and through-hole technology in an electronics-based production environment. Background in telecommunications is a plus. Prefer A.A.S. in Electrical or Electronic Technology or equivalent and experience in an electronic manufacturing environment.

Product Test Technician The Product Test Technician will be responsible for the testing of new software features prior to production release. This is a critical role which requires strong technical and communications skills. The Product Test Technician will take new software releases and put them through a series of functional real-world tests. The Product Test Technician will need to be able to learn and understand how Valcom systems are used by our customers and have the ability to validate the functionality of new software features. The Product Test Technician will be responsible for reporting test results to the software group and senior management. The Product Test Technician will work closely with the software group to ensure that test cases, debugging, and software usability are verified prior to the release of software to our customers.
