Voice & Visual Alerts
Valcom provides system sets that deliver effective voice and visual notification for education, government, military, healthcare, and commercial and industrial settings.
To augment public address systems in high noise environments, Valcom also manufactures large PoE visual message displays and speakers with text.
IP Backbone/Retrofit
IP backbone/retrofit audio visual notification systems are a combination of analog speakers and cabling connected to IP network audio gateways, IP speakers with text and flashers, strobes, and threat level indicators. This type system allows use of existing analog infrastructure/speakers, and provides the advantage of adding visual notification endpoints and migration to IP control. IP backbone system deployment is much faster than analog and offers the benefit of using software to make changes such as volume levels, zoning, etc. Access to make audio visual announcements can be IP Interactive Consoles and/or Notification browser based software. IP backbone systems provides the ability to broadcast to IP visual notification devices simultaneously with analog speakers. Multiple systems can be linked together for a large enterprise solution including local and remote access to broadcast daily audio visual announcements and emergency notification alerts.
Full IP
Full IP audio visual notification systems are modern, flexible, easy to install, and use new or existing network infrastructures. Each endpoint including speakers, speakers with text and flashers, horns, strobes, and threat level indicators simply plug into a PoE network switch. All audio broadcast, visual notification, and power is provided with a single PoE port which makes installations fast and simple. Set-up and programming is 100% software controlled and managed. Making changes is simple and done with the click of a mouse including speaker volume levels, zoning, audio messages, visual alerts, and all call page broadcast. Access to make audio visual announcements can be IP Interactive Consoles and/or Notification browser based software. A full IP system has no limits on zones and can be expanded without the need to purchase new headend equipment. This type system is used in all types of audio visual notification applications including single building, multi-building, multi-site, and multi-campus. Multiple Full IP systems can be linked together for a large enterprise solution including local and remote access to broadcast daily audio visual announcements and emergency notification alerts.
